Direct Part Marking Solutions / 2D Barcode Marking
The most popular applications for Data Matrix are the marking of
small items such as integrated circuits and printed circuit boards.
However, the biggest advantage is that Data Matrix can be utilized for
Direct Part Marking (DPM), eliminating labels and the problems/cost
associated with them. With the right process, just about any material
can be marked with a Data Matrix symbol.

2-d barcode permanantly marked into the surface of the product is easily
read to identify the part using Hawkeye camera show above.
