MASS Group provides a wide range of Auto ID and asset management solutions for military applications that include: asset management software, maintenance management software, military grade mobile computers, direct part marking, barcode label, and barcode scanners.

Our solutions meet military and government guidelines and specifications for Unique Identification (UID). UID is a new method established by the Department of Defense to identify its tangible assets. Suppliers are required to encode the UID data into a 2D Data Matrix symbol and directly apply it to specific tangible items to help facilitate item tracking in DoD systems. The data will also be used for management, financial, accountability, and asset management purposes.

UID solutions for aerospace, automotive/vehicle and other assets comply with the following standards:

• UID (Unique Identification) MIL-STD-130L For Serialization Used In Asset Tracking And Asset Life Cycle Management
• Aerospace SPEC 2000 for Aerospace part marking/part reading
• Automotive/Vehicle part marking that complies with UID specifications AIAG B-4 For military vehicles parts and components
