The SecureLink NVRS is based on a distributed architecture where the digitizing and encoding of the video camera signals take place at the source, either at or near the camera. DVTel's video encoder boxes, based on the latest video compression, MPEG-4, can be located near the cameras and placed right onto your Ethernet network. The result is no new wiring. You can install new cameras with no long coaxial cable runs. Just plug the encoders into your network.

• With the DVTel platform there is no need for coax for video transmission, 4-wire for PTZ, 2-wire for access control, 4-wire for intercom, or 2-wire for alarm input and output control signals. All five sets of signals are carried over standard Ethernet or telephone cables
• If you have no Ethernet infrastructure available, DVTel can turn your twisted pair telephone wiring into a standard Ethernet network while still being used for standard telephone service. With this equipment, you don't need to install any new wiring. All of the network bandwidth you may ever need is already hiding behind your company walls.
