ESP™ (Easy Setup Program)
ESP is provides a quick and easy way to setup and configure Microscan's
complete line of bar code scanners and 2D imagers.
Features:
- Exclusive EZ Mode allows users to quickly and easily take images
and/or decode symbols within minutes of removing products from the box 3
programming modes (terminal, tree control, GUI interfaces)
- Bar Code Configuration Tool allows the user to encode commands into
bar codes for fast setup and replication of multiple imagers without
having to use external hardware
- ISO/IEC and IAQG Symbol Quality Reports can be used when symbol
quality and traceability are key components of a sound bar code
application
- Ethernet, RS232 and USB connectivity options
- Supports Windows 2000, Windows XP
Ultimate Connectivity For Multiple Scanners
MS-5000 Microscan's MS-5000 multidrop concentrator polls and collects
data over an RS-485 multidrop network from up to 50 devices, including
scanners, decoders, or barcode label printers. Several concentrators can
also be cascaded to poll more than 50 devices. The MS-5000 makes it simple
to integrate a network of Microscan barcode scanning equipment with a host
computer.
- Communicates up to 38.4K baud over the multidrop network and with the
host computer.
- Uses standard RS-485 multidrop protocols or polling mode D.
- Built-in software menus for RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 interfaces
with standard and user-defined protocols.
